The Mojo Allosaurus was newly released in 2020. The figure has articulated jaw and was voted best value Allosaurus in 2022. Nice brown paint with red accents. Good texture and form.

This is one of 2 Allosaurus figures available from Mojo. This is the newer version (released in 2020). Both Allosaurus figures from Mojo are good figures. We slightly prefer this one as it has a moveable jaw. The other version (#387383) does not have a moveable jaw.

This is a good figure. Head is slightly lower than the tail gives a good sense of motion. Hands and talons are well done. Dark brown base paint with red highlights is well applied on a well textured body. Due to its price point, we selected this as one of the best value Allosaurus in 2022.

Allosaurus Information:

The word "Allosaurus" means "different lizard". The Allosaurus was a large predator dinosaur that walked on its hind legs. It's three-fingered upper arms were small and weak relative to its powerful hind legs. Its skull was large and equipped with dozens of sharp, serrated teeth. Its body was balanced by a long and heavily muscled tail.

Allosaurus was a typical large theropod, having a massive skull on a short neck, a long, slightly sloping tail, and reduced forelimbs. Allosaurus fragilis, the best-known species, had an average length of 28 ft, with the largest definitive Allosaurus specimen estimated at 32 feet long, with an estimated weight of 2.3 tons.
