A fun and engaging book about the time Peter Cottontail got sick and asked T. rex to fill in for him on Easter (remember that?). A few problems here...one being that Mr. rex can't hop! It all works out in the end (I can't divulge the ending) and turns out to be the best - and noisiest - Easter ever! Written by Lois Grambling (author of "Can I Have a Stegosaurus, Mom? Can I? Please?") and illustrated by the acclaimed artist, Jack E. Davis (who's list of accomplishments is too long for this parenthesis), this book is a great picture book for youngsters ages 2-6. |
